This week we watched Jurassic Park and did a web quest to go with it. I've seen this movie a few times but I really like watching it. The way they pulled the DNA from the blood in the mosquito was really cool. That isn't possible for us to do in real life though because we couldn't feel in the gaps with frog DNA like they did. I believe that one day we will get to the point where we can recreate dinosaurs. It's going to be dangerous though because like in the movie the dinosaurs could get loose and attack us. I think this movie was good for us to watch though to see how we could recreate an animal that has gone extincted.

ReplyDeleteIt was interesting that you all chose an ecosystem so close to us! Most other groups did faraway places. I liked your presentation and your facts. All in all you did a good job.
Allissa, Cole, Tonya, Kallie, I couldn't hear Kallie very well, and there wasn't much eye contact. Cole went a little fast, and Tonya i couldn't hear you clearly. Allissa speak just a little louder. Other than that it was a great presentation and very informative. Your model of the river was very cool and realistic. Great job guys!
ReplyDeleteI liked how you, Tonya, Cole and Kali used Google Presentations instead of prezi. Your model was nice and I liked all the pictures you put in your presentation. You talked very clearly. The only thing I would suggest is if Kali and Cole would have spoken a little louder.

I found it really interesting because its a ecosystem we should know about but really we dont'! Great model!
ReplyDeleteThe power point your group made looks really good, the information you had was also really good. I would have to say that it could have been a bit more exciting, but it seemed very rehearsed and the game was a good idea. Good Job!
